Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina and Ain Dubai

One of Dubai's main postcards is the incredible Palm Jumeirah: the artificial island built in the shape of a palm tree. Despite being one of the most famous points of the city, seeing the island itself and all its design is not one of the easiest tasks, so the beginning of the second day of the Trip will depend on how much adventure you want on the trip.

If you want to live one of the biggest adventures of your life in Dubai, the parachute jump over the Palm Jumeirah can be, believe me, the highlight of your trip. I speak from experience: I always wanted to skydive and I realized that dream in Dubai on my first trip to the United Arab Emirates.

Skydive Dubai is undoubtedly one of the most famous parachute jumps in the world and has everything to be the star of your Trip. This was my first and, to date, only jump I've made in my life – so there's no excuse not to experience this adventure for the first time in Dubai. Those who have already jumped in other places, of course, do not even need to be convinced to consider this experience.
But, if you're not really interested in jumping out of a moving plane and flying in freefall over the most famous island in the world, you can rest assured that there is a much quieter alternative that is a super novelty in Dubai: The View At The Palm.

The View At The Palm:

Seeing the island in the form of a palm tree has always been the desire of many travelers arriving in Dubai. The point is that this privileged view was not accessible to everyone, until, finally, a sensational viewpoint was opened where you will have a 360º view of Dubai and, of course, the most famous island in the United Arab Emirates.

Located at the base of the palm tree, The View At The Palm is on the 52nd floor of The Palm Tower building. At 240 meters high, right in front of the island, this is the best place to see the full magnitude of this work that, to this day, leaves people from all over the world with their mouths open.

I visited this observatory in the late afternoon, during sunset. However, in the case of this Trip, I prioritized the sunset on the new Ferris wheel in Dubai – if you prefer to reverse the sequence of the tours, feel free.

The View At The Palm opens most of the year at 10 am. I recommend that you arrive early to have less traffic and enjoy your day more. The ticket costs AED 100 dirhams per person and you can buy it at a discount, in dollars, on Viator.

After visiting the viewpoint, or parachuting, a good alternative in this region is the Madinat Jumeirah Souk. Despite having other malls on the schedule, this is a differentiated space that will yield great experiences – in addition to being a good choice for a lunch break.

Madinat Jumeirah Souk is a fully themed mall inspired by the old markets of Dubai. The architecture of the mall and stores is beautiful, with a wooden ceiling and several points that make for great photos.

It is also worth mentioning that there you have a privileged view of the Burj Al Arab, another building that is an icon of Dubai: with the shape of a sailing vessel, it is considered until today as the only 7-star hotel in the world. For Visa Click here

Dubai Marina and Sunset on Dubai Ferris Wheel:

After lunch at the Madinat Jumeirah Souk, the next stop on the Trip is the famous Dubai Marina area – where you will see several famous buildings and stroll among luxury yachts and vessels.

Dubai Marina is one of the most famous in the world and is worth including in your Trip. If you have time to spare on your trip, it's even worth scheduling a boat trip or even a jetski ride to get a different perspective on the city.
Finally, after walking around the Marina, we'll head to one of Dubai's newest and most incredible attractions: at 250 meters high, Ain Dubai has become the largest spinning wheel in the world.
