Warnings and advice for submitting the Tourist Visa application

 

The submission of incorrect or insufficient documentation represents one of the main reasons for refusal to issue visas.
This document collects a series of simple tips to avoid unpleasant inconveniences

Submit all original documentation + a photocopy.


 All documents must be filled in by hand and signed with a BLUE pen.

 No people other than those who have made the appointment will be accepted at the counter (passport will be valid). 

The booking time is indicative. 

The applicant must therefore present himself at the Embassy in the morning at the opening to begin the documentation control operations.

At the entrance, the applicant must present a valid passport, if not already delivered, together with an identity card or similar document. 

All required documentation must be submitted at the time of the interview. It is not possible to integrate missing documents later. 

The lack of a document, omissions or errors, may lead to the immediate denial of the visa due to incomplete documentation.

The payment of the service must be made at the time of delivery of the documentation, together with the passport, without this ensuring the issuance of the visa . $ 60 for the tourist visa from 1 to 90 days.

 As a rule, visa fees ($ 60) are non-refundable, regardless of the final decision regarding the issuance of the visa. 

Some Embassies accept payment of the fees in national currency; others may charge upfront fees and request a payment receipt. For any advice you can  consult here

Check on the spot before going to the appointment.Documents sent by fax or post directly to the Embassy office are usually NOT taken into consideration.

Always go to the Embassy with the appointment receipt (email, electronic receipt or anything else delivered in advance by the Embassy). 

There may be cases where you can show up without prior reservation; also in this case, inquire in advance about the location.

 In some countries, the collection of documents is delegated to an external service authorized by the Embassy. Inquire about the place.
