• The 485 subclass visa costs about 1,535 Australian dollars, equal to our 970 $ (depending on the exchange rate) and you can receive it after 4 or 5 months from the time of application.

This visa allows you to continue training, work and live in Australia and bring your family with you after you finish your studies in Australia.

In order to obtain it, you must be under the age of 50, have obtained a qualification in the country (among those listed above) and have studied for at least 2 academic years in Australia (in a CRICOS registered study path).

Compared to the visa we told you about before, it is not always necessary to carry out a recognition of your qualifications. This applies to professions such as chef, painter, mechanic, plumber etc. However, three years of demonstrable experience in the profession are required and, also for this visa, you must not exceed 45 years of age. The required language requirement is also the same as the previous visa, i.e. having obtained an IELTS (or equivalent certificate) with a score of 6.0.
