How Travel to Australia do it yourself

Australia, with its vast unspoiled spaces ranging from beautiful beaches to deserts through the rain forest, the famous "outback" and the great coral reef, is a real paradise for nature lovers who can observe creatures here. and unique scenarios in the world but also avant-garde cities.

I lived in Australia for two years, traveling around the country for about 6 months. I have touched all the most popular destinations.

Whether you are planning a backpacking trip, an epic road trip or simply gathering information to organize a more comfortable tour, in this guide you will find everything you need.

When to visit Australia.

Given the size of the country it is really difficult to talk about climate without making a clear distinction based on the region in question. Also remember that the seasons are reversed from our hemisphere!
Broadly speaking, drawing an imaginary line that cuts the country in half, from east to west (more or less at the height of Brisbane), in the lower half that is to say to the south there are four distinct seasons with very hot summers and winters that can be colder than you think, especially in the state of Victoria and Tasmania.

While in the upper half, i.e. in the north of the country, there are basically two seasons: the dry season (from April to November) with pleasant temperatures and practically no rainfall, and the rainy season (from November to April) extremely sultry with almost daily with a stormy nature.

What has just been said applies to the coastal regions, while inland - in the so-called "outback" that is the whole substantially semi-desert area - rainfall is scarce throughout the year, temperatures are extremely high during the austral summer and in winter moderate during the day and close to freezing at night.

To conclude, the best time to visit the south of the country is from November to April, that is, at the turn of the austral summer (if possible it would be better to avoid the Christmas period and the month of January which correspond with the summer holidays of schools, prices are much higher and the beaches are crowded) while for the north of the country the best period is from April to November, that is, between the austral winter. Finally, the best period for the outback is the mid-seasons, ie April-June and October-November.

If you have a lot of time available, the ideal would be to visit the south of the country during the summer months and then move north at the end of the summer, thus meeting the dry season. Or vice versa, you could start your journey in the north during the dry season and move south in early summer, thus avoiding the rainy season. for Visa and Immigration extension contact aec global

What to do and see in Australia

Given the size of the country, I have decided to divide this section of the guide into seven areas between federal states and distinct territories starting from the state of Victoria to the south and turning counterclockwise. For each region you will find a more detailed map.
In this guide, prices are expressed in the local currency called "Australian Dollar" often abbreviated to "AUD". The exchange rate, at the time of publication of this article, is 1 € = 1.60 AUD. For the current change, I suggest you take a look at this page.

The small state of Victoria has something for everyone, beautiful beaches along the southwest coast, countryside where great wine is produced, numerous national parks, the legendary Great Ocean Road and finally Melbourne, one of my cities favorites as well as one of the most liveable in the world and undisputed cultural capital of Australia.

In general, the best time to visit this area is from September-November to April-May.
